Pliskin Realty & Development Announces Two Recent Sales

Carle Place, NY...

Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently brokered two property sales on Long Island:

-A 3,000 square foot office building located at 240 Lincoln, Westbury, New York, which was sold for $550,000 by one private investor to another. The office building, which is now owner-occupied by a photographer, will undergo a substantial renovation.

-A 5,000 square foot strip shopping center located at 1270 Montauk Highway, Oakdale, New York, which was sold for $1.1 million by one private investor to another. This is the second sale of this shopping center brokered by Mr. Friedman. Currently, the center is anchored by Busy Bee Florist and a new 4,000 square foot day care center. The new owner is planning some upgrades on the property.

As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin's sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong "deal maker". Indicative of the deals he makes was the $8.1 million Fort Salonga shopping center sale he brokered this summer.

Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
