Close on Sale of Bayside Retail Building

Pliskin Realty & Development, a full-service commercial real estate company, announced today that two of the firm’s associates, Licensed Associate Broker Mandy Cantor and Vice President Jerry Small, have completed the sale of a 2,800 square foot retail building located at 4117 Bell Boulevard in Bayside, New York.  The property, located in the heart of this Queens community’s business district, was formerly the home to Charmet Bridal Couture for over 70 years. The property was sold to Land Equities LLC for $1,620,000. Pliskin has been engaged to lease the property which has a mezzanine and basement, 27 foot frontage and will be rented for $60 per square foot. The new tenants will have some high profile, national brand name neighbors including Lucille Roberts, Benjamin Moore, McDonald’s, Rite Aid, Eckerds, 7-11, Radio Shack, Dunkin Donuts, UPS, Tiger Schulman’s, Payless as well as several banks and restaurants. The location is also in very close proximity to the Long Island Railroad.

Mandy Cantor, a Licensed Associate Broker, joined the Company in 2001. She has represented Federal Realty Trust, Kiddie Academy, major restaurant chains and other retailers, in addition to handling investment property sales. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College.

Jerry Small, a Licensed Sales Associate, has been with the company since 1997. He specializes in leasing retail properties and representation of tenants, including Subway Sandwiches and Angel Tips Nails Salon.
