Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently brokered the sale of a 4,000 square foot, three floor apartment building located at 14 North Tyson in Floral Park, New York. The sale was for $700,000. Mr. Friedman was the exclusive broker for the transaction, representing the seller and the buyer, both private investors. He had previously brokered sales on behalf of the buyer.

According to Mr. Friedman, the buyer is currently embarking on a total interior and exterior renovation for the five-unit apartment building.

As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin’s sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong “deal maker”.

Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
