Closes on $2.7 Million Office Building Sale

Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently closed a $2.7 million sale of a 16,000 square foot office building located at 69 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, NY. The fully-occupied, two-story building with ample parking, was sold to a private investor. Mr. Friedman represented the seller, also a private investor and someone for whom he has conducted many transactions. Mike Baruch of Real Estate Strategies (Jericho, NY) represented the buyer.
As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin’s sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong “deal maker”. Indicative of the deals he makes was the $8.1 million Fort Salonga shopping center sale he brokered this summer.
Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
