Closes on Two Transactions:
$2 Million Mixed Use Property Sale and $462,000 Commercial Building Sale

Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently closed on two more transactions, including a $2,000,000 sale of a mixed use building located at 238 Deer Park Avenue in Babylon Village, NY and a $462,000 commercial building sale located at 92 East Jericho Turnpike in Mineola,  NY.

It is the second time that Mr. Friedman sold the Babylon Village building which includes a home furnishings store, card store and dry cleaner on the ground floor and apartments over the stores. He represented the seller, a private investor, and Manhein Realty represented the buyer.

In the commercial building transaction, Mr. Friedman represented the buyer, a private investor, and Royal International represented the seller. The building, currently vacant, will undergo a building exterior and interior renovation prior to occupation.

As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin’s sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong “deal maker”. Indicative of the deals he makes was the $8.1 million Fort Salonga shopping center sale he brokered this summer.

Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
