Closes $560,000 Mixed-Use Building Sale

Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently brokered the $560,000 sale of a 4,000 square foot mixed-used building located at 229 Post Avenue in Westbury, NY. Mr. Friedman represented both the buyer and seller with whom he has conducted previous transactions. Both the buyer and seller are private investors. The two-story building, which currently houses retail on the bottom and offices on top, is being renovated for a dental practice.

As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin’s sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong “deal maker consummating major sales of commercial real estate properties throughout the New York-Metropolitan area.

Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
