Pliskin Realty & Development’s Friedman Closes on Mixed-Used Building Sale

Carle Place, NY…

Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently represented the buyer and seller, both private investors, in the sale of a 4,500 square foot mixed-used building located at 490 Westbury Avenue in Carle Place, New York. The three-story building is fully-leased with retailers, office space users and Camille’s restaurant. Future plans are for a total renovation of the building. The sale price was not disclosed.

As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin’s sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong “deal maker consummating major sales of commercial real estate properties throughout the New York-Metropolitan area.

Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
