Pliskin Realty & Development Announces Shoppping Center Sale
Carle Place, NY… Mitchell Friedman, Vice President of Investment Sales at Pliskin Realty & Development (Carle Place, NY), recently brokered the sale of a $2 million shopping center in West Babylon, New York. Mr. Friedman represented the buyer and the seller, both private investors, of the 8,000 square foot center located at 665 Route 109.
According to Mr. Friedman, the center is in a prime retail location for a convenient neighborhood shopping center. Included among the current retailers are a restaurant, cell phone store and karate school.
As Vice President of Investment Sales for Pliskin Realty & Development, Mr. Friedman is responsible for the research and development of new properties, sales negotiations on behalf of property owners and sellers, as well as the training of Pliskin's sales associates. He began his career at the Company in 2001 and is a recognized as a strong "deal maker". Indicative of the deals he makes was the $8.1 million Fort Salonga shopping center sale he brokered this summer.
Prior to joining Pliskin, Mr. Friedman served as Director of Real Estate for Pergament Investments and as the President of his own successful brokerage firm, M. Lindsey Associates. His expertise is frequently tapped by associations for lecturers, as well as the media for whom he has authored various articles relating to real estate market analyses, growth and expansion. Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Development from American University.
